I am a Walla Walla Valley native, like many others in a small community I am always finding ways on creating programs or offering help that will further enhance my community. Born into an immigrant family I understand how challenging it can be to access quality free extracurricular programs. I attended Sharpstein Elementary and Prospect Point (while Sharpstein was undergoing remodeling). Later attended Garrison Middle School and graduated from Walla Walla High School. From art to science and from sports to technology, I alongside my staff and students aim to create programs that will ultimately spark an interest in a student's developing mind.
ARTS & CRAFTS
We don't shy away from getting messy! In Afterschool, we find unique projects that exercise your student's creativity muscles and amplify their artistic voice.
STEM
Through varying hands-on challenges, we encourage students to think outside the box! Egg drop one day, spaghetti towers the next, we like to keep kids on their toes!
FILMMAKING
If there's anything we've learned, it's that these kids have TALENT! We use iMovie to refine our students' filming, editing, and directing skills. Students also have the opportunity to broadcast the latest school news to the entire student body through the morning announcements.
SOCIAL & EMOTIONAL LEARNING
Our number one priority is building a long-lasting community among our students. We do this through sparking confidence, giving each student a voice, and finding activities that encourage teamwork and interpersonal skills.
